Smaller Footprint Farm is a small family farm located near Yellow Springs, OH. Since 2006, we have been committed to growing delicious, nutritious food for our community. At Smaller Footprint Farm, we view the farm as an ecosystem and are dedicated to growing quality food in a way that enhances soil health and protects the natural world.
Local & Naturally Grown
We work to enhance the ecosystem of our farm through our growing practices. We increase soil fertility & organic matter through the use of compost, organic fertilizers and cover crops. To protect the natural resources of the farm, we minimize tillage and never use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. We also increase biodiversity by planting a large variety of crops and manage habitat for native and beneficial organisms.
